Project Timeline
MoDOT designed new structures to replace the bridges over the Middle Fork Chariton River and Middle Fork Chariton River Overflow.
This project was a part of MoDOT's June 2019 letting, when contractors may submitted competitive bids for the project.
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $4,269,513.15 contract to E & C Bridge, LLC at their July 2019 meeting.
The contractor began work in August 2019.
The contract completion date is currently set for December 2020. The contractor was able to fully open both bridges to all traffic in March 25, 2020.
