Right of Way Acquisition

At this time, MoDOT does not expect to acquire permanent right of way for the projects. Temporary construction easements may be needed for roadway entrance realignment of the U.S. Route 65 access road to Chillicothe water treatment facility and conservation area to the north end of the bridge.

The projects will remove the Route 190 entrance onto County Road 229 to the east end of the bridge.

Roadway entrance modifications are necessary due to improving sight distance and safety of motorists.

During this time period motorists will be directed by a signed detour around the closure.

Q: Is there a detour?

A: During the short period each road will be closed a signed detour will be in place directing traffic around the work zone.
