St. Louis Work Zones for November 2 - 8

ST. LOUIS – Drivers throughout the St. Louis region should be aware of a winter operations drill to test the departments’ readiness today and tomorrow. Motorists may notice an increase in MoDOT vehicles on state routes with snow plows during the drill on both days.

In rural areas, crews will start after 8 a.m. In urban areas, the drill will not begin until after 9 a.m. The exercise should be completed by 3 p.m. each day.

Drivers are encouraged to give the trucks plenty of space to practice and complete the drills.

For additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

 

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 from the I-44/I-55 interchange to the Poplar Street Bridge until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed from the eastbound I-44 ramp to northbound I-55 until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Shrewsbury and Jamieson through December. The remaining lanes are narrowed and shifted.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound I-55/westbound I-44 to eastbound I-64 at the Poplar Street Bridge closed through February.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from 8th Street/Marion to northbound I-55 is closed until December.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, two right lanes closed eastbound across the Poplar Street Bridge into Illinois until summer 2018.
  • Route 61, St. Charles County, eastbound Piene Road to northbound and southbound Route 61 is closed through December. Drivers should use another crossover or Wentzville Parkway to get to northbound and southbound Route 61.
  • Route 94, St. Charles County, the westbound ramp to eastbound Route 364 is narrowed through spring 2018.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed westbound on Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed northbound between 7th/Park and Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound from Route 109 to Route 141.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closures eastbound and westbound from Chesterfield Airport Road to Route 340.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound from Vance to South Highway Drive.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed northbound and southbound at Old St. Charles Road.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Route 141 to St. Louis City limit.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Evans and Eddy/Powell.
  • Route AC, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Pohlman, Old Halls Ferry and Lucas & Hunt.
  • Route 94, St. Charles County, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one lane closed westbound at North St. Peters Parkway
  • Route 364, St. Charles County, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one lane closed westbound at Muegge Road.
  • Route 364, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Muegge Road.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed southbound from Route 61 to Route TT.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., one lane closed northbound from Route TT to Route 61.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., various ramp will be closed northbound and southbound from Route A to Route TT.
  • Route 47, Franklin County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in both directions on the bridge. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closures.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed westbound on Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closures eastbound and westbound from Chesterfield Airport Road to Route 340.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., up to two lanes closed westbound at Maritz.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound from Route 109 to Route 141.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound from Vance to South Highway Drive.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Route 141 to St. Louis City limit.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed northbound and southbound at Old St. Charles Road.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Evans and Eddy/Powell.
  • Route AC, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Pohlman, Old Halls Ferry and Lucas & Hunt.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Route K.
