St. Louis Work Zones for December 29-January 4

 

ST. LOUIS – To help motorists travel around the state for the upcoming New Years holiday, the Missouri Department of Transportation will restrict most construction on interstates and state highways from 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 30, until 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 3. Restrictions will still be in place in areas where there are permanent barriers and if required, crews will close lanes for emergency maintenance.

For additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis County, the connection from the north outer road to northbound Route 141 will be closed until summer 2017. Drivers can detour using the new roundabout, the south outer road and Maritz Drive.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound and southbound at Route 115 through mid January.
  • Route 115, St. Louis County, the ramp to northbound I-170 is closed through mid-January.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound from Sunset Office Drive to S. Geyer Road through spring 2017.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed westbound on the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Blvd. to Baptist Church Road.  

Friday, December 30

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at the Meramec River
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed at Truman.

  • I-170, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. two lanes closed northbound and southbound between St. Charles Rock Road (Route 180) and Natural Bridge Road (Route 115)
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Blvd. to Baptist Church Road.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound between Valley Drive and North Highway Drive. 

 

Wednesday, January 4

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Vandeventer.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Blvd. to Baptist Church Road.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound between Valley Drive and North Highway Drive.
