St. Louis Work Zones for December 22-28

ST. LOUIS – To help motorists travel around the state for the upcoming Christmas holiday, the Missouri Department of Transportation will restrict most construction on interstates and state highways from 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 23, until 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 27. Restrictions will still be in place in areas where there are permanent barriers and if required, crews will close lanes for emergency maintenance.

For additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis County, the connection from the north outer road to northbound Route 141 will be closed until summer 2017. Drivers can detour using the new roundabout, the south outer road and Maritz Drive.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to southbound I-170 is closed until Friday, December 23.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound and southbound at Route 115 through the end of 2016.
  • Route 115, St. Louis County, the ramp to northbound I-170 is closed through the end of 2016.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound from Sunset Office Drive to S. Geyer Road through spring 2017.

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Blvd. to Baptist Church Road.

  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound from Valley Drive to North Highway Drive.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Blvd. to Baptist Church Road.

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Outer Road at Maritz.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at the Meramec River.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound from Valley Drive to North Highway Drive.
