St. Louis Work Zones for December 15-21

ST. LOUIS – Drivers in north St. Louis County should be aware of continuing roadway closures as crews continue to work on the bridges around the I-170 and I-70 interchange.

Crews continue to have one lane closed around the clock in both directions of I-170 between Natural Bridge Road (Route 115) and I-70. Additionally, the ramp from Natural Bridge Road to northbound I-170 and the ramp from westbound I-70 to southbound I-170 remain closed around the clock.

Crews will close two lanes on southbound I-170 from just north of I-70 to Natural Bridge Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, until 5 a.m. Friday, and from 8 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday. Crews will close two lanes on northbound I-170 between St. Charles Rock Road (Route 180) and Natural Bridge Road from 8 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday, and from 8 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis County, the connection from the north outer road to northbound Route 141 will be closed until summer 2017. Drivers can detour using the new roundabout, the south outer road and Maritz Drive.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to southbound I-170 is closed through mid-December.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound and southbound at Route 115 through the end of 2016.
  • Route 115, St. Louis County, the ramp to northbound I-170 is closed through the end of 2016.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound from Sunset Office Drive to S. Geyer Road through spring 2017.

Thursday, December 15

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Vandeventer.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Highway Drive from Maritz to Route 141.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed southbound from north of I-70 to Natural Bridge Road.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed northbound from St. Charles Rock Road to Natural Bridge Road.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ramp from southbound to eastbound I-70 will be narrowed.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Boulevard to Baptist Church Road. 

Friday, December 16

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed westbound at Vandeventer.
  • Route 47, Franklin County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from Augusta Bottom Road to the Washington Bridge. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic through the closure. 

 

Saturday, December 17

  • I-170, St. Louis County, until 7 p.m., two lanes closed southbound from north of I-70 to Natural Bridge Road.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, until 7 p.m, two lanes closed northbound from St. Charles Rock Road to Natural Bridge Road.

Sunday, December 18

  • No scheduled lane closures.

 

Monday, December 19

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Highway Drive from Maritz to Route 141.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Boulevard to Baptist Church Road.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound atTruman Boulevard.

Tuesday, December 20

  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Highway Drive from Maritz to Route 141.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed southbound at Forest Park Parkway.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Boulevard to Baptist Church Road.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound between Route 94 and Convention Center. There will also be a short closure of the ramp from Route 94 to eastbound 70 during the work.

Wednesday, December 21

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane c losed westbound at the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on North Highway Drive from Maritz to Route 141.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Northwest Boulevard to Baptist Church Road.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a moving operation on eastbound at Route O. Drivers should be aware of slow moving vehicles.
