St. Louis Work Zones for November 17-23

ST. LOUIS – Several work zones around the area may impact drivers wrapping up their errands before Thanksgiving:

  • In north St. Louis County, crews will close two left lanes on westbound I-70 near I-170 from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
  • Crews will have one lane closed on eastbound I-64 between 11th Street and the Poplar Street Bridge between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Thursday.
  • Crews will also have two eastbound lanes on the Poplar Street Bridge closed starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Monday and Tuesday. The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.
  • Crews will have the ramp from the westbound PSB to southbound I-55, the ramp from southbound Memorial to I-55 and two lanes on westbound I-44/southbound I-55 closed Tuesday night starting at 8 p.m. All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Drivers who use the I-44 north outer road in Valley Park will need to allow a little extra time to get around starting next Monday.

Crews will close the eastern connection between the outer road and northbound Route 141 before morning rush on Monday, November 21.The connection will remain closed until mid-summer 2017.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound from Grand to 39th Street through the end of the year.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one lane on the ramp from westbound I-64 across the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound I-55 is closed until December. One lane on southbound I-55 from the PSB to Lafayette is also closed until December.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the southbound ramp to 7th Street and the ramp from 7th Street to southbound I-55 are closed until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane on the north outer road (Meramec Street) is closed around the clock into Buder Park until late November. Signals direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, the connection from the north outer road to northbound Route 141 will be closed until summer 2017. Drivers can detour using the new roundabout, the south outer road and Maritz Drive
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, November 21 through spring 2017, one lane closed on westbound from Sunset Office Drive to S. Geyer Road.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the right lane is closed between Zumbehl and Route 94 and Route 94 and Fifth Street through November.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from eastbound I-70 to Fifth Street is closed through Wednesday.   Drivers can use the new Fairgrounds Road/Convention Center Drive exit to access Fifth Street.
  • Fifth Street, St. Charles County, one lane is closed southbound under I-70 until early November. Then one lane will be closed northbound until late November.

  • I-44, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Grand closed between Shaw and McCree.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one left lane closed westbound at the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound on Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., one lane closed eastbound from 11th Street to the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the right shoulder closed southbound near Route D.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction between the Meramec River and Route 30.
  • Route 340, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed westbound from New Ballas to Lindbergh.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • I-70, St. Louis County,10 p.m. until 8 a.m., two lanes closed westbound at the I-170 interchange
  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the right shoulder closed southbound near Route D.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction between the Meramec River and Route 30.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

 

Saturday, November 19

  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction between the Meramec River and Route 30.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

 

Sunday, November 20

  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.

Monday, November 21

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound on Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m.to 3 p.m., one lane eastbound at the Meramec River.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the right shoulder closed southbound near Route D.

  • Route 370, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed at Rott Road.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

 

Tuesday, November 22

  • I-44/I-55, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two right lanes westbound/southbound closed between the PSB and Lafayette
  • I-44/I-55, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from the PSB to westbound/southbound and the ramp from Memorial Drive to westbound/southbound will be closed.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, 9 a.m.to 3 p.m., two left lanes closed northbound at Bates.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound on Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, until 5 a.m., the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-170 is closed.
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the right shoulder closed southbound near Route D.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction between the Meramec River and Route 30.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed northbound at the Lindbergh Tunnel
  • Route 340, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed westbound from New Ballas to Lindbergh.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.
  • Route N, St. Charles County, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., traffic on westbound will be shifted into the middle lane.

 

Wednesday, November 23

  • Route 67, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to noon., one lane closed northbound at the Lindbergh Tunnel
  • I-170, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to noon. the right shoulder closed southbound near Route D.
