St. Louis Work Zones for November 10-16

ST. LOUIS - Drivers in St. Louis City who use the Poplar Street Bridge should be aware of significant lane and ramp closures overnight during the next week.

Crews will be working around the bridge on Thursday, November 10; and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (November 14-16) nights.

Crews will have one lane closed on eastbound I-64 between 11th Street and the Poplar Street Bridge starting at 7 p.m. each of those evenings. They close the ramp from northbound I-55 to the eastbound PSB and two lanes on eastbound I-64 across the PSB starting at 8 p.m. The single lane before the PSB will remain closed until 7 a.m. All other lanes and ramps reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.

In addition, crews will have the ramp from the westbound PSB to soutbound I-55 closed Tuesday, November 15 at 8 p.m. In addition, two lanes on westbound I-44/southbound I-55 from the PSB to Lafayette and the ramp from southbound Memorial to westbound I-44 close at 8 p.m. All closed lanes and ramps reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 16.

In north St. Louis County, the ramp from eastbound I-70 to northbound I-170 closed before 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 15 for preventative maintenance work. The ramp is scheduled to remain closed for a week. Drivers may continue on southbound I-170 to Route 115 (Natural Bridge Road) and then turn onto northbound I-170 to detour around the closure.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound from Grand to 39th Street through the end of the year.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, drivers cannot turn left from northbound Grand onto westbound I-44, or from southbound Grand onto eastbound I-44, through the end of the year.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one lane on the ramp from westbound I-64 across the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound I-55 is closed until December. One lane on southbound I-55 from the PSB to Lafayette is also closed until December.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the southbound ramp to 7th Street and the ramp from 7th Street to southbound I-55 are closed until December.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane on the north outer road (Meramec Street) is closed around the clock into Buder Park until late November. Signals direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, eastbound traffic is shifted near I-170 through November.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound over I-170 until early November.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the right lane is closed between Zumbehl and Route 94 and Route 94 and Fifth Street through November.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from eastbound I-70 to Fifth Street is closed through November.   Drivers can use the new Fairgrounds Road/Convention Center Drive exit to access Fifth Street.
  • Fifth Street, St. Charles County, one lane is closed southbound under I-70 until early November. Then one lane will be closed northbound until late November.

  • Route 340, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed westbound from New Ballas to Lindbergh.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

Friday, November 11

  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction betwwen the Meramec River and Route 30.
  • Route 340, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed westbound from New Ballas to Lindbergh.

 

Saturday, November 12

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., several ramp closures eastbound and westbound for the Girls on the run 5K
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed in each direction on 5th Street under I-70.

Monday, November 14

  • I-44, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.,the ramp from westbound to the PSB will be closed.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., one lane closed eastbound from 11th Street to the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed westbound from Maritz to the Route 141 ramp to westbound.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed on the north outer road west of Route 141. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • Route 21, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed in each direction betwwen the Meramec River and Route 30.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., one lane closed eastbound from 11th Street to the Poplar Street Bridge.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Clarkson.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed westbound over northbound and southbound I-170.

  • Route 47, Franklin County, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed across the Washington Bridge. A flagger will direct traffic through the work zone.
