St. Louis Work Zones for October 13-19
Drivers Can Expect Various Interstate Closures Thursday for Police Funeral Procession

ST. LOUIS – Various interstates and roads around the St. Louis region will be closed on Thursday, October 13 as a part of the funeral procession for St. Louis County Police Officer Blake Snyder. Local law enforcement and MoDOT will close portions of I-55, I-64, I-270 and Route 367 for up to a half hour between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the funeral procession. In addition to the interstate closures, portions of Mackenzie Road, Long Road, Chesterfield Airport Road, Edison Road and Baxter Road will be closed.

MoDOT will close a section of Lafayette in St. Louis City between the westbound I-44 exit and Grand for two weeks starting on Friday, October 14 at 9 a.m. The closure is necessary so crews can complete ramp work to connect the new northbound Grand Bridge over I-44 to Lafayette.

The ramp from westbound I-44 to Lafayette will remain open, but will be closed at Louisiana.  To detour around the closure, drivers exiting westbound I-44 can take Louisiana, turn left on Park and turn onto northbound or southbound Grand from Park.

All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather. For additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com
