St. Louis Work Zones for July 24-30
Weekend Closure Eastbound I-44 exit to Walnut

ST. LOUIS - The ramp from eastbound I-44 to Walnut will be closed this weekend so crews can finish removing the old ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge to I-44.  The ramp will close at 9 a.m. Friday, July 25 and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 28.  To detour around the closure, drivers should take eastbound I-44, exit at Washington and take the U-turn ramp before Washington to get back to Pine Street or take Washington Street into downtown. 

Route W in Jefferson County will close for 10 days starting Friday, July 25.  Route W will be closed in both directions between White Oak School Road and Patty Drive until 5 a.m. Monday, August 4. 

In addition, various lanes and ramps will be periodically closed overnight on I-44 and I-55 in the city next week for resurfacing.  See the list below for a list of the closures.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, drivers have three shifted 10-foot lanes in both directions between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014.  The right lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Kingshighway.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the westbound exit to Boyle Street is closed until early August 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the eastbound I-64 exit ramp to Vandeventer is closed until early August 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until early August 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the Poplar Street Bridge ramp to westbound I-44 is closed until mid-2015.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the right lane is closed westbound on the Poplar Street Bridge until mid-2015.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, Chesterfield Parkway West Bridge is closed until mid-August 2014.

•·         I-270, St. Louis County, auxiliary lane closed from Dougherty Ferry to Manchester until mid-November 2014.

•·         Route 109, St. Louis County, access to Pond Grover Loop is closed until early August.

•·         Route 115, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound and westbound from North Hanley to Florissant through summer 2015.

•·         Route C, Jefferson County, one lane closed at Dry Creek Bridge until late summer 2014.
