St. Louis Work Zones for May 1-7

ST. LOUIS - Drivers around the area need to be aware of three major ramp closures this week.

The southbound I-270 ramp to westbound I-70 will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, May 1 until 5 a.m. Friday, May 2.   Drivers should use Route 370 as an alternate route. 

The westbound I-64 ramp to eastbound I-70 will also be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, May 1 to 5 a.m. Friday, May 2. 

The northbound I-55 ramp to the Poplar Street Bridge will close at 8 p.m. Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6.  The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.  Drivers can access Illinois by exiting eastbound I-44 at Walnut and looping back to the Poplar Street Bridge.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until spring 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the eastbound I-64 exit ramp to Vandeventer is closed until spring 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the westbound exit to Boyle Street is closed until mid-May.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, drivers have three shifted 10-foot lanes in both directions between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014.  The right lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Kingshighway.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, Chesterfield Parkway West Bridge is closed until summer 2014.

•·         I-44, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Poplar St. Bridge to Washington.

•·         I-70, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one westbound lane closed on the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound at Bowles.

•·         I-255, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., various eastbound lanes closed on the JB Bridge.

•·         I-270, St. Louis County, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the southbound ramp to westbound I-70 closed.

•·         I-270, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound from I-44 to Route 100.

•·         Route 109, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., northbound and southbound lanes shifted between Route 100 and Clayton Road.

•·         Route 366, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed westbound between Sappington and Lindbergh.

•·         Route D (Page Avenue), St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Dielman.

•·         I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound from Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-64, St. Charles County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., westbound ramp to eastbound I-70 closed.

•·         Route 370, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Route 94.

•·         US 61, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Pearce Boulevard.

•·         I-44, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., various lanes closed eastbound and westbound at Pin Oak Creek.

•·         Route 47, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., various lanes closed at the Missouri River.  A flagger will direct traffic through the closure.

•·         Route 61, Jefferson County, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., up to one lane closed at Route 67.

•·         Route W, Jefferson County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed between Byrnesville Road and Route 109.  A flagger will direct traffic through the closure.

•·         Route Z, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one lane closed from Metropolitan to Route A.  A flagger will direct traffic through the closure.

 

Friday, May 2

•·         I-44, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Poplar St. Bridge to Washington.
