St. Louis Work Zones for March 20 - 26

ST. LOUIS - Next weekend, March 21 - 24, drivers who use I-255 to get from Illinois to south St. Louis County should consider alternate routes.

Two lanes on eastbound I-255 across the Jefferson Barracks bridge will close starting at 7 p.m. Friday, March 21. Only one lane will be available across the bridge as crews complete preventative maintenance by replacing joints on the bridge. All westbound lanes will remain open.

All lanes are projected to be open by 5 a.m. Monday, March 24. Drivers should consider using I-64 and I-55 to travel between Illinois and Missouri during this work.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until spring 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, the eastbound I-64 exit ramp to Vandeventer is closed until spring 2014.

•·         I-64, St. Louis City, drivers have three shifted 10-foot lanes in both directions between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014. The right lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Kingshighway.

•·         I-44, St. Louis City, the westbound Pine St. off ramp is closed permanently.

•·         I-44, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Washington.

•·         I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound from Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, up to two lanes closed westbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, up to two lanes closed eastbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.  

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, westbound up to two lanes closed from Route 141 to Allenton.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, eastbound up to two lanes closed from Allenton to Route 141.

•·         Route W, Jefferson County, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., road closed for 15 minutes for blasting near Twin Rivers.

•·         Route W, Jefferson County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone between Byrnesville Road and Route 109.

•·         Route A, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., road closed in various locations between Route BB and Independence.

 

Friday, March 21

•·         I-44, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Washington

•·         I-255, St Louis County, 7 a.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, up to two lanes closed eastbound at the J.B. Bridge.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, westbound up to two lanes closed from Route 141 to Allenton.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, eastbound up to two lanes closed from Allenton to Route 141.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed westbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed eastbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.  

•·         I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed eastbound from Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, westbound up to two lanes closed from Route 141 to Allenton.

•·         I-44, St. Louis County, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, eastbound up to two lanes closed from Allenton to Route 141.

•·         I-64, St. Louis County, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed westbound at Chesterfield Airport Road.

•·         Route W, Jefferson County, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., road closed for 15 minutes for blasting near Twin Rivers.
