St. Louis Work Zones for January 9-15

  

ST. LOUIS - This week's snow and low temperatures have delayed many of the roadway projects previously scheduled for the greater St. Louis area.

Crews will continue to work on interstates and state numbered and lettered routes to remove packed snow and ice on those roadways. Once those roadways are cleared, crews will continue to work on shoulders and ramps until they have been cleared as well.

For additional work zone information, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map. For real time traffic, visit http://www.gatewayguide.com/. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until spring 2014.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the eastbound I-64 exit ramp to Vandeventer is closed until spring 2014.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, drivers have three shifted 10-foot lanes in both directions between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014. The rightmost lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Kingshighway.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, one left lane on Walnut and one left lane on northbound Memorial Drive closed

Thursday, January 9

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the ramp from eastbound to 14th Street is closed.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., ramp from Pine Street to eastbound and westbound is closed
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., up to two lanes closed on southbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine. The Walnut Street Bridge is also closed.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.., one lane closed eastbound from Missouri Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road

Friday, January 10

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to noon., the ramp from Grand to westbound is closed.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, noon to 3 p.m., ramp from Papin to eastbound is closed
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed on southbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine. The Walnut Street Bridge is also closed.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.., one lane closed eastbound from Missouri Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road

Saturday, January 11

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. one left lane closed eastbound at Tower Grove.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, until 6 p.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed on southbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine. The Walnut Street Bridge is also closed.

Sunday, January 12

  • No workzones scheduled

Monday, January 13

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. one right lane closed eastbound from Sarah to Grand.
  • I I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed on southbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine. The Walnut Street Bridge is also closed.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.., one lane closed eastbound from Missouri Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road

Tuesday, January 14

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. one right lane closed westbound from Ewing to Boyle.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, up to two lanes closed on southbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine. The Walnut Street Bridge is also closed.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.., one lane closed eastbound from Missouri Research Park to Chesterfield Airport Road

Wednesday, January 15

  • I-64, St. Louis City, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. one right lane closed westbound from Ewing to Boyle.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning, up to two lanes closed on northbound Memorial between Walnut Street and Pine.
