St. Louis Work Zones for November 21-27
Weekend work planned for Jefferson Barracks Bridge

ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation will close two lanes of three  on eastbound I-255 on the Jefferson Barracks Bridge this weekend as crews perform preventative maintenance, weather permitting

Crews will close two eastbound lanes at 7 p.m. Friday, November 22 for the work.  That will leave only one lane open eastbound.

Drivers can use the Poplar Street Bridge as a detour around the lane closures. All lanes on the Jefferson Barracks Bridge will reopen by 6 a.m. Monday, November 25.

In downtown St. Louis City, MoDOT will permanently close the ramp from northbound Memorial Street (north of Pine Street) to westbound I-70 after morning rush on Monday, November 25.

The ramp closure is part of the preparations needed to areas roadways for the Park Over the Highway project.

Crews will complete the new connection from Convention Plaza to the existing westbound I-70 ramp at the Martin Luther King Bridge before closing the northbound Memorial ramp. Once the Pine Street ramp to westbound I-70 closes, drivers should take 4th Street to either Convention Plaza or Biddle to get onto westbound I-70.

For additional work zone information, go to http://www.traveler.modot.org//map. For real time traffic, visit http://www.gatewayguide.com/. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
