ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc., will close the ramp from Jefferson Avenue to westbound I-64 just after midnight Monday morning, June 17.
The ramp will be closed for three weeks, while crews connect the new ramp to the interstate and to Jefferson.
While the ramp is closed, drivers can use 14th or Market/Compton to access westbound I-64. When the ramp from Jefferson to WB I-64 reopens in three weeks, crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-64 to southbound Jefferson.
Crews are still planning to close two lanes on westbound I-64 to place girders for the new bridge starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, with short term closures as they swing the girders across the interstate. All work is weather permitting and crews are projected to reopen all lanes by 7 a.m. June 15.
