St. Louis Regional Work Zones for June 14-20
Motorists need to slow down, stay alert and watch out for highway workers

ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation has more than 100 construction and maintenance work zones planned in the metropolitan area during the next week.

From downtown St. Louis to Franklin County, MoDOT crews and contractors are taking advantage of the weather to make progress on major construction projects in the area. This includes widening I-270 between Manchester and I-44, and the I-44 pavement reconstruction between Lewis Road and Route 141.

Motorists in Franklin County should be aware of a single "moving" lane closure at various locations on eastbound and westbound Route 47, from the Missouri River Bridge to Steutermann. This work zone will be in place throughout the week.

For additional work zone information, go to modot.org. For real time traffic, visit gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
