ST. LOUIS -- The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding an informational, open-house-style public meeting September 10 to discuss Route 364 (Page Ave. Extension) in St. Charles and the upcoming work between Jungermann Road and Central School Road.
The meeting is Thursday, September 10, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the College Center Rotunda of St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Attendees should access the college from the southwest entrance off Cottleville Parkway and park in the Yellow lot.
Those attending can see plans for the upcoming work and discuss the impacts of expected future work between Central School Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive as well as work on the final phase of the project between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 40. Additionally, participants will be able to submit comments during the public meeting.
Since there are no formal presentations during the public meeting, participants may attend at any time during the open house.
The expected work between Jungerman and Central School roads is paid for with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money. The Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission will review bids at their September 2 meeting and if approved, work could start in late September or early October.
