MoDOT to restrict lanes on the Route 21 bridge over the Meramec River beginning May 26

     ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor St. Louis Bridge Construction Company will close both northbound lanes of the Route 21 (Tesson Ferry Road) bridge over the Meramec River beginning Tuesday, May 26. All work is weather permitting.

Traffic will be shifted to the southbound lanes of the bridge. Both northbound and southbound will be restricted to one lane in each direction. This $1.96 million project consists of replacing the bridge deck on the Route 21 (Tesson Ferry Road) bridge over the Meramec River at the St. Louis County/Jefferson County line. This project is expected to be completed in December 2009.
