ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will close the New Meramec Station Road bridge over the Grand Glaize Creek for rehabilitation starting March 10, weather permitting. During the three-month closure, crews will replace the bridge girders and deck, replace guardrail and resurface the roadway leading to the bridge.
The bridge is just south of Route 100, west of Route 141 in west St. Louis County. Drivers can use Old Meramec Station Road as a detour.
The rehabilitation project is expected to be complete by June 15, 2009.
