ST. LOUIS - Traffic flow on the region's roads continues to flow well in both morning and evening rush hour for the week of January 21-25.  The travel times and volumes have stabilized on both the interstates and arterials.  Travel times continue to be affected when incidents and crashes occur.

• Volumes peaked from 6:30-8 a.m. on interstates and 7:00-8:00 a.m. on arterials
• Evening
• Time = 3 - 6:30 p.m.
• Volumes peaked from 3 - 6 p.m. on interstates and 4-6 p.m. on arterial roads

• Volumes have increased 10 percent compared to before the closure
• 7:30-8:30 a.m. peak time from Route 141 to Hanley, heaviest area is Lindbergh and Manchester intersection and Brentwood and Manchester intersection
• Lindbergh
• At Manchester, Southbound volumes have increased 270 percent compared to before the closure increasing travel times by 6 minutes; northbound volumes have decreased 50 percent compared to before the closure.

General St. Louis County road observations

• Clayton Road has doubled in volumes but travel times have remained the same as before the closure
• Ladue Road has increased by 85 percent

Metro information:

• Increased in ridership appears to be holding since the closure.
• Many park and ride lots continue to be at overflow indicating an increase in useage.
