Route 364 (Page Extension)

Phase 3 logoRoute 364/Page Ave Phase 3

***IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTES***

***Henke Road/Technology Drive Connection to I-64 Closed***

MoDOT, and its contractor Page Constructors, has permanently closed a connection between Henke Road/Technology Drive and Interstate 64.  This means there is no access from Henke Road onto Route N or onto Interstate 64.  This is part of the final design for the Route 364 Page Phase 3 project which will tie into Henke Road.  Motorists should use Old Highway N or Ronald Reagan Drive as alternate I-64 crossings to access Route N to the west or the I-64 ramps.  This closure will go into effect after morning rush hour on April 28.

***DESIGN AND SCHEDULE CHANGE NOTICE***

Changes have been made to the design of one intersection on the Route 364 Page Phase 3 project.  Route 364 is a design-build project, which means the design of the road is happening at the same time as construction.  The westbound Route 364 exit to Bryan Road was changed from a folded diamond interchange to a roundabout.  This change means the new Route 364 will now open in two phases instead of three. The stretch from I-64 to Route K will open October 3, with all lanes of the new road still scheduled to open by October 31.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MoDOT, St. Charles County and the local municipalities have teamed together to allocate $118.2 million towards building Route 364 Page Phase 3.  The $118.2 million will be used for purchasing property, utility relocations, design and construction.  The project includes building an improved connection from Page Phase 2 at Route 94 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive to I-64/US Route 40/61 at Route N.

MoDOT used a Design-Build contracting process to have contractor teams compete to win the contract.  The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved the contract on February 6, 2013, awarding the project to the Page Constructors Joint Venture, which includes Fred Weber Inc., Millstone-Bangert Inc., Kolb Grading and lead designer, Parsons Transportation Group.
