Page Avenue (Route 364)
WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW
Crews have finished building the Harvester Road bridge and removed the bypass which took traffic around the bridge. The bridge has been connected to Harvester Road and been opened to traffic. Drivers need to be aware of traffic pattern changes around the bridge.
Now, crews are working on grading for the main roadway between Jung Station and Woodstone and working on utility relocations and grading to construct the outer roads been Woodstone and Central School Road. Crews are also working on the future bridge over Woodstone Drive just west of the Harvester Road bridge.
Traffic on Route 364 and Route 94 at Harvester (where Route 364 ends and Route 94 continues) is on the north and south outer roads around the construction zone. To get to westbound Route 94 from Route 364/Route 94 in St Charles, drivers need to take the north outer road through Harvester and rejoin westbound Route 94 near Jungermann. To get to Route 364 and Route 94 to St. Charles from eastbound Route 94, take the south outer road through Harvester and get on Route 364 (or exit just east of that for Route 94.)
The current project is a portion of the second phase of the Page Extension on Route 364. This current construction project (which is a combination of two projects) will extend Route 364 to Central School Road. When completed, this project will improve traffic flow along Route 94/Route 364 to Central School Road by constructing a limited access freeway with one-way outer roads (similar to Route 364 from Route 94 to Harvester Road)
This work will include the completed bridge at Harvester Road, plus bridges at Woodstone, Jungermann Road, and Central School Road, as well as entrance and exit ramps from the freeway. This construction, when complete, will remove all traffic signals on Route 364 to Central School Road.
Work on the overall project is expected to be complete by early 2012.
The Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission has approved American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money for the next section of Route 364. This work has also been approved by the East-West Gateway Council of Governments. Fred Weber Inc. was awarded a $43.9 million contract to complete Route 364 from west of Harvester Road to west of Central School Road.

Includes bridge construction at Woodstone, Jungermann Roads and Central School Road, as well as construction of the Rte. 364 outer roads. All other Phase 3 Route 364 projects (no funding has been secured):
Much design work has been completed. MoDOT has purchased approximately 50 percent of the right of way needed. Little money is available at this time to buy more property. No other money has been allocated for construction. No construction start dates have been set.
Estimated cost in 2008 dollars to purchase the remaining right of way and construct Phase 3 of Page Avenue is $140 million.
MoDOT wants to ensure all stakeholders stay updated and informed about the project during construction. We will send out periodic "e-updates" via e-mail when they become available. If you would like to be added to this list, please send an e-mail to Andrew Gates at Andrew.Gates@modot.mo.gov. If you do not have access to e-mail, you can call MoDOT toll-free at 1-888-ASK MODOT (275-6636) for updates on the project.
