Route 94 Improvements (Terry Road and Route 47-Route D)

Flood

What is being done? The Missouri Department of Transportation is working on a plan to raise the height of Route 94 near Terry Road by 3 1/2 feet to help alleviate flooding that often occurs in the area due to its close proximity to the Missouri River.  In addition, MoDOT will be adding shoulders and making pavement improvements and curve corrections on Route 94 between Route 47 and Route D.

When will the project start and when will it be completed?  The contractor will begin construction in June of 2015.  A complete closure of Route 94 at Terry Road will be necessary from June to August.  Work on both projects is expected to be completed in Fall 2016.
