Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive Under Construction

Latest Construction update:

Construction continues to move along on the Route 364 upgrade project between Harvester Road and Mid Rivers Mall Drive.  Crews have moved all traffic to the outer roads.  Construction on the main roadway of the new Route 364 is underway. 

 

Highlights of the current construction:

 

• Traffic on Route 94 will remain on the outer roads during construction of the new Route 364 pavement scheduled to be completed in late 2012.

• Access at Central School is limited.  Traffic must use the Kisker intersection to turn around to access eastbound Route 94.  Eastbound 94 traffic wanted to get to Central School uses a temporary bypass through the middle of the workzone to loop back to Central School Road.
• New concrete pavement is in place through the Jungermann area. 
• Crews are currently working on excavation for Route 364 to go under what will be a new bridge at Central School Road. 
• Crews are grading for the paving work to come from Kisker to Mid Rivers Mall Drive. 

Work on Phase II is expected to be open to traffic in late summer/early fall 2012.  An exact date will be announced as we get closer to the completion.
