MoDOT's Supportive Services routinely analyzes its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program to determine what stands in the way of DBE doing business with prime contractors and with MoDOT.
What does the assessment cover?
The assessment looks at the following:
- What skills do DBE firms seek?
- What tools do the DBE firms need to build capacity?
- What barriers prevent DBE firms from doing business with prime contractors?
- What barriers prevent DBE firms from doing business with MoDOT?
When was the last assessment completed?
In 2007, MoDOT contracted with Philips & Associates, Inc to complete the most recent needs assessment. MoDOT will perform periodic reassessment to measure the changes in needs and to document progress.
