MoDOT reopens diverging diamond interchange at Dorsett and Interstate 270 with final layer of asphalt and striping
The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor Fred Weber Inc. reopened St. Louis' first diverging diamond interchange at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 31, ahead of schedule.
Crews completed installing the final layer of asphalt and final striping on this new interchange at Dorsett Road and Interstate 270. The interchange was originally scheduled to reopen by no later than 5 a.m. Monday, November 1.
Work will continue on enhancements to the interchange, including sidewalks, pedestrian ramps and landscaping. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010.
