2013 North St. Louis County Construction Projects
I-70 at the Blanchette Bridge -- This year long project to remove and replace the westbound Blanchette Bridge is underway. Three lanes of westbound I-70 have been shifted onto the eastbound bridge over the Missouri River. This project should be complete by late 2013.
I-170 – Repair expansion joints on the bridge over Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road). This work starts in spring 2013 and will be complete in the fall.
I-270 – Repair damaged retaining wall on Dunn Road at the exit from westbound I-270 to Hanley Road. This project starts in spring 2013 and will be complete in the fall.
Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) – Upgrade 20 signals with vehicle detection . Also includes upgrades on Route AC, Route D, Route EE, Route N, Route U, Route 115, Route 67 (Lindbergh) and I-170. This work is scheduled to begin in fall 2013 and will be complete in summer 2014.
Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) – Pavement improvements from west of I-270 to McKelvey Road. This project starts in summer 2013 and should be complete by December 2013
Route B – Pavement improvements from Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) To Route 67 (Lindbergh) . The project starts in summer 2013 and is projected to be complete by December 2013
