MoDOT, District 8, Springfield -- Traffic will be stopped for up to five minutes on I-44 west of Route 5 in Lebanon during the early morning hours of Sunday, February 20, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
A Sprint telephone crew has received permission from MoDOT to remove an overhead line across the interstate.
When the line is cut, sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., traffic will be stopped to allow crews to pull the line out of the way of traffic.
Rain will cause the short road closing to be postponed to a later date.
