Lane Closings Needed to Seal

MoDOT, District 8, Springfield -- Drivers can expect one-lane traffic the weeks of June 6 and June 13 on Stone County Route M between Jamesville and Route 413/265, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

MoDOT crews plan to seal the roadway with an oil-and-rock mixture.

Drivers are urged to slow down, obey flaggers, observe the work zone speed limit and watch for loose rock.

Repairs to the pavement were made in the spring.

The operation is set to begin on the east end of the project at Jamesville on Monday, June 6, and move toward Route K.

If the work goes smoothly, the crews will work west from Route K during the week of June 13.

Rain will cause postponements.
