RATE OUR WORK ZONES

Barry County

  • Route 86: One-lane traffic over Roaring River near Eagle Rock. Bridge work.
  • Route 97: One-lane traffic in areas between Route B west of Purdy and I-44 south of Stotts City. Shoulder work, installing pavement markings and repairing approaches.
  • Route JJ: One-lane traffic in areas between Route TT and end of state maintenance west of Crane. Sealing pavement.

  • Business 37 (Main Street): Daytime lane closings possible in areas between 5th and 17th Streets in Cassville. Sidewalk improvements.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Barton County

  • Route 160: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between Lamar and Route 39 in Dade County south of Greenfield. Sealing roads with mixture of rock and oil.
  • Routes K, P, V and FF: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.

 

Bates County

  • Routes E and AA: One-lane traffic in various locations. Laying long patches.
  • Route 52: One-lane traffic in areas between Route BB west of Appleton City and Deepwater. Resurfacing and shoulder work.
  • Route WW: One-lane traffic in areas between Route A west of Rich Hill and Vernon County Route D south of Metz. Patching.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Benton County

  • Routes C, H and W: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks in Benton County. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way.
  • Routes A, JJ and ZZ: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.

Cedar County

  • Route CC: One-lane traffic in areas between Route 97 north of Jerico Springs and Route 32 west of Stockton. Patching.

      

  • Route 215: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between Route 39 south Stockton and Dade County Route Y west of Bona. Sealing roads with mixture of rock and oil.
  • Routes E and N: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicide to control weeds.

 

Christian County 

  • Route 65: Lane closings in areas between Route A/BB and Route EE south of Ozark. Mile Markers 32-27. Taking pavement samples.
  • Route H: One-lane traffic in areas between Route 125 near Chadwick and Christian/Taney county line. Patching.
  • Route 160/13 at Route 14 Intersection Widening in Nixa:

    ROAD CLOSED: West Street south of Route 14 closed Wednesday-Monday, August 24-29

Nighttime lane closings possible on Route 14. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Business entrance pavement and sidewalks may be removed and replaced with gravel. Use caution when traveling over gravel entrances and watch for gravel where sidewalks have been removed.

Business entrances may be closed one-half at a time or one entrance may be completely closed if more than one entrance exists for a business.

Dade County

  • Route 215: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between Route Y west of Bona and Route 39 in Cedar County south of Stockton. Sealing roads with mixture of rock and oil.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds and cutting brush.

Dallas County

  • Route K: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.
  • Route F: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in various locations north of March. Sealing road with rock and oil.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Greene County

  • I-44: NIGHT WORK - One eastbound lane closed east of Route 266 in Springfield. Mile Marker 73. Repairing guardrail. Work begins after 11 p.m.
  • Route 60: NIGHT WORK – One eastbound lane closed east of Business 65 (Glenstone Avenue) in Springfield. Repairing guardrail. Work begins after 7:30 p.m.
  • Route 60: NIGHT WORK - One westbound lane closed east of Route 13 (Kansas Expressway) in Springfield. Repairing guardrail. Work begins after 9 p.m.
  • Route F: One-lane traffic in various locations south of Ash Grove. Laying long patches.
  • I-44: NIGHT WORK – Lane closings and ramps closed for short periods of time in areas between Route 266 (Chestnut Expressway) in Springfield and Route 125 in Strafford. Mile Markers 72-88. Resurfacing. Work hours: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday-Thursday.
  • Route 160 outer road: One-lane traffic in areas between Farm Route 178 and Bryant Street in Springfield. Patching.
  • Loop 44 (Chestnut Expressway): One eastbound lane closed in areas between National Avenue and Glenstone Avenue in Springfield. Pavement repairs. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday-Thursday.
  • Loop 44 (Glenstone Avenue): NIGHT WORK – Lane closings in areas between I-44 and Route 744 (Kearney Street) in Springfield. Sidewalk improvements. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Cutting brush and spraying herbicides to control weeds.
  • Route 60 Freeway Upgrade in Rogersville:

    INTERCHANGE OPENS: Farm Road 247 at Route 60 open to traffic. Also, Route 60 median crossover at Farm Road 243 closed permanently.

    ROAD CLOSED: Business 60 at Route 60 CLOSED permanently

    ROAD OPEN:  Jamestown Boulevard open to traffic at Farm Road 253

    ROAD CLOSED: Farm Road 253 south of Route 60 CLOSED along with median crossover

    Equipment entering and leaving work areas along Route 60 at Farm Road 247 and Farm Road 253

    Completion: December 2016

  • Route 60 at Greene County Routes NN/J New Interchange between Springfield and Rogersville:

    Nighttime lane closings possible on Route 60. Work hours: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

    ROAD CLOSINGS: Greene County Route J and Greene County Farm Roads 195 and 199 closed at Route 60 until October.

    TRAFFIC SHIFT: Westbound lanes of Route 60 shifted to new lanes on either side of Route J

    New section of Route NN OPEN at Route 60. New temporary traffic pattern in place until interchange opens in fall 2016.

    ROUTE 60 MEDIAN CROSSOVERS CLOSED: At Route NN/J and at Farm Roads 195, 199 and 203 for the duration of the project

    Work zone speed limit reduced to 50 mph

  • Route 65 Six-Laning/Bridge Project Between Route 60 in Springfield and Christian County Line:

    One southbound lane closed on Route 65 between Route 60 and Springfield Lake. Work hours: 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

    TRAFFIC SHIFT: Southbound Route 65 lanes narrowed and shifted to west on bridge over Lake Springfield. Traffic shift also impacting eastbound Route 60-to-southbound ROute 65 ramp.  Drivers are urged to find alternate routes. DELAYS EXPECTED

    ROAD/TRAILS CLOSED: Timbercrest Road, the Galloway Greenways trail and the James River Water Trail closed for the duration of the project.

    Southbound Route 65 speed limit reduced to 55 mph in the work zone

    Completion: November 2017

  • Route 13 Bridge Deck Replacement north of Springfield:

    Traffic shifted to northbound bridge over Radio Lane. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes. EXPECT DELAYS.

    Route 13 traffic reduced to one lane in each direction

    Southbound bridge CLOSED until early fall

    Completion: December 2016

  • Route 744 (Kearny Street) at Packer Road Intersection Improvements in Springfield:

    Nighttime lane closings possible at times on Route 744. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

    Narrowed lanes on Kearney Street at Packer Road. Big trucks must use passing lane.

Henry County

  • Route 7: Lane closings in areas between Henry/Cass county line and Clinton. Replacing guardrail.

  • Route 13: Lane closings in areas between Route 7 in Clinton and St. Clair County Route A/C near Lowry City. Resurfacing and replacing guardrail.
  • Route 18 (Ohio Street): Lane closings in areas between Washington Street and Ninth Street in Clinton. Sidewalk improvements.
  • Routes 52: One-lane traffic in areas between Deepwater and Bates County Route BB west of Appleton City. Resurfacing and shoulder work.
  • Route B: One-lane traffic in areas north of Urich. Patching.
  • Route C: ROAD CLOSED over Tebo Creek north of Route 7 east of Clinton. Bridge deck replacement. (Completion: September 2016)
  • Route WW: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in various locations north of Windsor. Patching.
  • Route ZZ: One-lane in various locations east of Brownington. Patching.
  • Business 13 (Second Street): Lane closings possible in areas between Route 18 (Ohio Street) and Rivers Road in Clinton. Sidewalk improvements.

Hickory County

  • Route 54: One-lane traffic in areas between Preston and a point west of Weaubleau. Resurfacing.

Jasper County

  • Routes 37, B and K: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Lawrence County

  • Route 97: One-lane traffic in areas between I-44 south of Stotts City and Route B west of Purdy. Shoulder work, installing pavement markings and repairing approaches.
  • Route 174: One-lane traffic over I-44 near Mount Vernon. Bridge work.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

 

McDonald County 

  • Route 174: One-lane traffic over I-44 near Mount Vernon. Bridge work.
  • Route E: One-lane traffic near Mikes Creek Road north of Powell. Cleaning out ditches.
  • Route H: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work truck in areas between Pineville and Noel. Cutting brush.
  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds and mowing.

Newton County 

  • Various routes: One-lane traffic and slow-moving train of work trucks in various locations. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.

Polk County 

  • Route O: One-lane traffic in areas south of Flemington. Patching.
  • Route PP: One-lane traffic in areas between Routes 83 and D north of Bolivar. Patching.
  • Route TT: One-lane traffic areas between Route 64 and end state maintenance north of Polk. Laying long patches.
  • Business 13: One-lane traffic and traffic stops up to 20 minutes in areas between Route 13 and Gulf Street in Humansville. Sealing road with mixture of rock and oil.

St. Clair County  

  • Route C: One-lane traffic in various locations east of Lowry City. Patching.
  • Routes A, F, H and AA: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks in St. Clair County. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way.

  • Route FF: One-lane traffic over Dry Wood Creek near Bronaugh. Bridge work.
  • Routes V and WW: One-lane traffic in various locations. Patching.
