Barry County - The section of new passing lanes on Route 60 between Monett and Aurora will open Friday morning, Nov. 6. Motorists should watch for the possiblility of drivers making left turns from the left lanes of the new passing lanes in this section.

The remaining sections from Aurora to Republic will open as they're finished. All work should be finished by the end of the year.

The $8.7 million project was one of the first Economic Recovery Projects started in the nation.
