Bates County - MoDOT will host a public meeting Thursday, Oct. 29 to discuss alternative layouts for Route 71 north of Rich Hill. In order to convert Route 71 to interstate standards, direct access to Route 71 between Butler and Rich Hill will be eliminated. Residents are encouraged to attend to share their views on the location and design.

• Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Rich Hill High School Auditorium

A brief presentation will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session and time to review the exhibits.
