U.S. Route 60 at Greene County Routes NN/J Interchange Project
Update for Week of December 7, 2015

Work Scheduled:  

  • Grading work in the median of Route 60 at NN/J for future bridge
  • Applying seed and mulch at various locations

Traffic Impacts:  

  • Route NN traffic shifted to the new section of Route NN at Route 60. Be alert for new traffic pattern.
  • Route 60 Median Crossovers CLOSED Permanently:
    • At Route NN/J
    • Farm Road 199
    • Farm Road 203
  • Crews and equipment entering and leaving work areas

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.)

 Project Summary:

  • Build new diamond interchange east of existing at-grade intersection between Springfield and Rogersville
  • Build new section of westbound Route 60 between Greene County Farm Roads 205 and 193
  • Convert a section of westbound Route 60 to an outer road between Farm Road 195 and Route J

Prime Contractor: Emery Sapp and Sons, Columbia

Completion Date: November 2016

Total Project Cost: $15.1 million.
