Construction to begin on Route OO, Route 125 and Route 744

Greene County - Drivers can expect some traffic delays and lane closings during construction work to resurface Route OO from the intersection of Route 744 west of Strafford to Rte. B in Webster County, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Work is due to begin on March 25 on the Route OO with resurfacing and work, with turn lane additions set to begin later this spring at Mustard Way, Mulroy and Washington Street in Strafford.

Drivers can expect some daytime lane closings while this work is undertaken. Nighttime lane closures are possible later this Spring.

Drivers are urged to use caution. Crews and equipment will be working in the roadways, with at least one lane of traffic open at all times.

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.

Construction Cost: $2,438,047

Completion Date: November 1, 2014
