MoDOT Traffic Alert:
Route 64 CLOSED In Several Locations Week of March 10

What: MoDOT crews replacing deteriorating drain pipes underneath Route 64 between Route 73 near Plad and Bennett Spring State Park in Laclede County

When: 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. March 10-13

Where:

  • March 10: Route 64 CLOSED between Route 73 and Dallas County Route T west of Plad
  • March 11-12: Route 64 CLOSED between Route 64A and the Niangua River Bridge west of Bennett Spring State Park
  • March 13: Route 64 CLOSED between Dallas County Route K and Quail Farm Road east of Plad
  • Route 64 WILL be open at night

Traffic Impacts: Route 64 will be CLOSED where crews are set up working.  Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the closings.  Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closings.  However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zone.

Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.
