Work scheduled:

• Nighttime paving Route 13 between Joe Bald/James River Road and the Kimberling City bridge
• Paving Stone Ridge Center Road
• Laying asphalt for new driveway entrances and shoulders along Route 13 between Joe Bald/James River Road and Kimberling City
• Hauling rock and dirt and grading for widening along Route 13 between Route OO and Joe Bald/James River Road
• Grading dirt and rock for widening along Route 13 between Rollin Acres Road and Business 13 at Branson West
• Building forms for the future deck of new Route 13 bridge at south edge of Stoneridge
• Installing temporary traffic signals at Route OO and Route 13
• Cleaning up areas around Lakeshore Drive at Route 13
• Installing drain pipes across entrances from Route OO going north
• Building temporary bypass at Rollin Acres Road

(Rain during the week of March 19 postponed much of the work until week of March 26)

Traffic Impacts:

• NIGHT WORK: One-lane traffic in areas on Route 13 between Route OO and the Kimberling City bridge for asphalt paving and grading for widening work. Work hours: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• One-lane traffic on Stone Ridge Center Road 
• One-lane traffic in areas during daytime hours. Work will take place at lower traffic volume times.
• Business entrances may be closed one-half at a time
• Temporary traffic signals to begin operation at Route OO
• Short-term traffic stops at times on Route 13
• Large equipment entering and leaving work areas
• Work zone speed limit: 35 mph

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.)

Project Summary:

• Widen Route 13 to four lanes between Branson West and Joe Bald/James River Road
• Relocate a one-mile section of Route 13 west of Stoneridge
• Install new traffic signals at Route 13 and Business 13 at the south edge of Branson West
• Build right-turn and left-turn lanes in various locations
• Build two new bridges
