Public comments are being sought on a proposed project to add traffic signals and make other changes at the intersection of Route 60/Oakwood Street/Farm Road 93 in Republic.
New Traffic Signals
The City of Republic and Missouri Department of Transportation are working together on a plan to install traffic signals, lengthen turn lanes and close Farm Road 93 north of Route 60.
The project's goal is to improve traffic flow and safety at the busy intersection on the east side of Republic. Construction is scheduled for the summer of 2012.
Comments will be taken through this online public meeting through 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
