Bollinger County

Construction Projects

Route 34 in Bollinger and Cape Girardeau Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews begin installing shoulders along the roadway.This section of roadway is located from Route B to Route 72.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, May 11 through Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Butler County

Construction Projects

Business 67 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located at the intersection of Katy Lane, Oak Grove and Business 67. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, June 15 through Thursday, October 1 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.  

Route 142 in Butler County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge with a box culvert.

The bridge is located between County Road 357 and County Road 355.Weather permitting, work will be performed Thursday, June 24 through Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route PP in Butler County will be reduced to one lane while contractor crews build a roundabout. This section of road is located between Quail Meadows and County Road 469.Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route 160 in Ripley and Butler Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform dirt work and grading. This section of roadway is located from Route JJ to Route 67.

Work will performed, weather permitting Monday, Aug. 3 through Tuesday, Dec.1 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route 51 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located between the Arkansas State line and Missouri Route 53.Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Aug. 27 through Thursday, Sept. 10 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route 51 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located between Route 53 and Route B. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Sept. 4 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Katy Lane will be closed as contractor crews perform intersection improvements.This section of roadway is located at the intersection of Katy Lane and Business 67. Weather permitting, work will be performed from Monday, Aug. 24 and will re-open on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Cape Girardeau County

Douglas County

Construction Projects

Route 14 in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews upgrade sidewalks, new drainage, new curbs and gutter and asphalt resurfacing. This section of roadway is located from Washington Ave. to 12th Ave. in Ava. Work will performed, weather permitting Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary. Periodic lane closures will occur and the work zone will be marked with signs.

Traffic will be shifted to the west in both lanes on Route 14 between Washington Ave. and NE 12th Street in Ava. Pavement markings will be removed and restriped to allow contractors crews to work on the east side of the road. Lane changes will be performed on Tuesday, May 12 and remain through the extent of the project. Periodic lane closures will occur and the  work zone will be marked with signs. Flaggers will be utilized to maintain two-way, head to head traffic.

Route 14 in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews resurface approximately one half mile west of Route 5 in Ava. Weather permitting, work is scheduled to be completed between Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 3. Actual paving operations may take as little as one day to complete, but may be done partially during the night, or on the weekend. 

Route 14 in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform surface sealing of the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Business 5 in Ava to south Route 181. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including some weekends as necessary.  

Route 5 in Douglas and Ozark Counties will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform asphalt. This section of roadway is located from Route A in Douglas County to US 160 in Ozark County. Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, August 26 through Monday, October 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including some weekends as necessary.

Route AC in Douglas and Ozark Counties will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 14 in Douglas County to the end of state maintenance in Ozark County.  Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Sept. 2 through Thursday, Sept. 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route 76 in Douglas County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs. The bridge over the Fox Creek is located between County Road 76-245 and County Road 95-146. Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, Aug. 12 through Thursday, Oct. 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route 53/62 bridge in Dunklin County will be CLOSED as contractor crews replace the bridge. This bridge is located over the Union Pacific railroad in Campbell, MO.  Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, March 10 and will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 12 p.m.

Route 412 in Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform intersection improvements and pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located between Route 84and Route A.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m.

US 160 in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 19 to County Road 139. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Sept. 3 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ozark County

Construction Projects

Route 5 in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. The bridge over Ludecker Creek is located between County Road 833 and County Road 111. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 27 at 6 a.m. and lane will reopen at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1. SIGNAL LIGHTS will be utilized to maintain ONE LANE TRAFFIC for 24-hours a day.

Route 5 in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. The bridge over Hogard Creek is located between County Road 5-803 and Old Highway 5. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 27 at 6 a.m. and lane will reopen at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1. SIGNAL LIGHTS will be utilized to maintain ONE LANE TRAFFIC for 24-hours a day.

Route EE in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route O to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route FF in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from the end of state maintenance on the north end to the end of state maintenance on the south end. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Route O in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 101 to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route V in Ozark County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of roadway is located from US 160 to Route O. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Sept. 10 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pemiscot County

Construction Projects

Both east and westbound Interstate I-155 ramps in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. These ramps are located from I-155 east and westbound onto I-55 north at Exit 1B near Hayti. A signed detour will be available.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 20 starting at 12 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, Oct. 1 at 12 a.m.

Both north and southbound Interstate 55 ramps in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. These ramps are located from I-55 north and southbound onto I-155 east at Exit 17A near Hayti. A signed detour will be available.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 20 starting at 12 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, Oct. 1 at 12 a.m.

Drivers can expect head-to-head traffic in this area and should use caution.  Weather permitting, work will takeplace Wednesday, May 20 starting at 12 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, Oct. 1 at 5 p.m.

Northbound Interstate 55 ramp in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. These ramp is located from I-55 north onto I-155 west at Exit 17B near Hayti. A signed detour will be available.Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 20 starting at 12 a.m. and will reopen Thursday, Oct. 1 at 12 a.m.

Southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be closed near the Missouri/Arkansas state line. Work will be underway in Arkansas as the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department performs pavement repairs.Traffic will shift to northbound I-55 with a 12-foot width restriction from the Pemiscot County line to south of Route O. Drivers can expect head-to-head traffic in this area and should use caution.Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, June 12 starting at 12 a.m. and will reopen Saturday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.      

North and southbound I-55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a width restriction of 16 feet as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. The bridge is located between mile marker 25 and mile marker 30. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 3 through Thursday, Sept. 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

This section of roadway is located between County Road 403 and Maui Street.  This work zone includes two bridges one is over the drainage ditch the other is the bridge over I-55. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, Aug. 24 through Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Southbound Route 67 in St. Francois County will be reduced with a 12 foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance. This bridge is located between Cash Lane and Deslodge City limits. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8 through Thursday, Sept. 10 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wayne County

Route 34 in Reynolds and Wayne Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as

contractor crews perform dirt work for shoulders. The Route 34 bridge over McKenzie Creek in Piedmont will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews repair the bridge rail. This section of roadway is located from the Route 49/34 intersection to Route DD (between downtown and Clearwater High School). Work will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, weather permitting. As work is underway, a temporary concrete barrier will be in place with portable traffic lights and signage to guide motorists through the work zone. The work zone will remain in place 24 hours a day. Work is expected to be completed Tuesday, Sept. 29, weather permitting.

Business Route 60 in Wright County will be CLOSED for Laura Ingalls Wilder Day. The section of roadway that will be closed is from Phelps Road to Route A in Mansfield. Weather permitting, Wilder Day will take place Saturday, September 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
