Bollinger County

Construction Projects

Route CC in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane with a 10- foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs. This bridge is located between Route 51 and County Road 310.Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, May 15 through Sunday, Oct. 1 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route 34 in Bollinger County will be reduced with a 10 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs.  This bridge is located between County Road 203 and County Road 740 near the Wayne County Line.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route N in Bollinger and Cape Counties will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform pull paving. This section of roadway is located from Route 51 to Route 25.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 11 through Friday, Sept. 29 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route B in Bollinger County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pull paving.This section of roadway is located between Route M and Route UU to Route 34.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 28 through Friday, Sept. 8 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route OO in Bollinger County will be reduced with a 12 foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route 51 to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 14 through Thursday, Aug. 17 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Butler County

Business 67 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform sidewalk improvements.

The section of roadway is located between Pine Street and Route 53.Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, July 17 through Monday, Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Business 60 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane with a 10 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform sidewalk improvements. The section of roadway is located between Business 67 and B Street. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, July 17 through Monday, Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route M in Butler County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform chip sealing.This section of roadway is located from County Road 461 to County Road 441.Weather permitting, work will performed Wednesday, Aug. 23 through Friday, Sept. 8 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route 60 eastbound in Butler County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs.The bridge is located over the Saint Francis River near Fisk.Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, Aug. 22 and Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Cape Girardeau County

Construction Projects

Contractor crews will perform ADA sidewalk improvements along Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County.

This section of roadway is located from Route 25 to Old Cape Road in Jackson, Mo. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 through Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  There will be very minimal impacts to traffic during the improvements.

Route EE in Cape County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge replacement. This bridge is located between County Road 249 and County Road 264. Weather permitting, the bridge will close Monday, June 5 and re-open Monday, Sept. 11.

Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as contractor crews replace a bridge. This bridge is located over Poor Creek between County Road 506 and Achillea Lane in Old Appleton, Mo. Work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 18, weather permitting. During the closure, southbound traffic will detour to Route KK to southbound I-55 Exit 111 to Route E to Route 61. Northbound traffic will detour to Route E to northbound I-55 Exit 117 to Route 61.

Carter County

Construction Projects

US 60 in Howell, Shannon and Carter Counties will be reduced as contractor crews install rumble strips and will follow with striping of the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Business 60 in Willow Springs, Howell County through Shannon County with project completed at County Road 256 in Carter County. Route AC in Dent and Reynolds Counties will be CLOSED as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement milling repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route 32 in Dent County to the end of state maintenance in Reynolds County. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, August 10 through Tuesday, August 15 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The work zone will be open to local traffic only. 

Douglas County

Route 25 in Dunklin County will be reduced with an 11 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from Route 412 to County Road 410.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, March 28 through Friday, Sept. 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The section of roadway is located from US 160 at West Plains in Howell County to Route 106 at Summersville in Texas County. Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, August 18 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., including weekends as necessary.

Business 60 in Howell County is CLOSED by the Missouri Department of Transportation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  The CLOSED bridge is over Kings Creek is located between US 60 and County Road 1270. The bridge is west of the Missouri Department of Transportation Regional Office and maintenance shed in Willow Springs.

Westbound US 60/63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge work.  The bridge is located over the bypass in Willow Springs.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Route U in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge replacement. This section of roadway is located from County Road 725 to County Road 731.Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 21 and will re-open Friday, Sept. 22.

Ozark County

Construction Projects

Route CC in Ozark County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform bridge construction.  This bridge over North Fork of the White River is located between County Road 367 and County Road 371.  Weather permitting, work will take place Aug. 9 and will re-open Sept. 15. 

Route JJ in Ozark County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform bridge and roadway reconstruction. The bridge CLOSURE over Little Creek is located just north of Route 95 in Thornfield. Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, June 19 and road will re-open at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1. Work zone CLOSURE will be set-up 24-hours.

Route PP in Ozark County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform bridge construction.  This bridge over North Fork of the White River is located between County Road 319 and County Road 344.  Weather permitting, work will take place Aug. 9 and will re-open Sept. 15.

Pemiscot County

Construction Projects

Southbound I-55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 14 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance.  This section of roadway is located from Route U to Route 164.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 24 from Sat. Sept. 9 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. 

Southbound I-55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 14 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. This section of roadway is located from Route E to Missouri/Arkansas line. 

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 31 through Saturday, Sept. 9 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Reynolds County

Construction Projects

Route 21 in Reynolds County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from 2nd Street to County Road 348.

Weather permitting, work will take place from Monday, Aug. 7 through Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route 106-Due to concerns about roadway stability, Route 106 near Logan Creek located west of Ellington, Mo. CLOSED Wednesday, Aug. 9 through Monday, Sept. 11, weather permitting. The CLOSURE is located between County Road 608 and County Road 610. Route 106 was previously reduced to one lane as the Missouri Department of Transportation’s contractor crews worked to repair the slide that developed during the flood last spring. “We hoped to keep one lane of traffic open throughout the repair project. But during the excavation process, we became concerned about the stability of the surrounding roadway,” said MoDOT Assistant District Engineer Chris Rutledge. “MoDOT values safety, and we will not keep a roadway or bridge open that is deemed unsafe.” During the closure, additional excavation and repair work will be completed to this section of roadway and the surrounding right-of-way.

Route 34 in Reynolds County will be reduced with a 10-foot restriction as contractor crews perform chip sealing. This section of roadway is located from Route 21 to the Wayne County line. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Sept. 8 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route W in Ripley County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.  The bridge is located between Route AA and County Road W-2.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Aug. 15 through Thursday, Aug. 17 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

Scott County

Construction Projects

Improvements to the Interstate 55/57/U.S. 60 cloverleaf interchange in Sikeston, Mo. will begin Monday, June 5, weather permitting. The interchange is located at mile marker 66. As work is underway, motorists should anticipate various lane and ramp closures. The ramp from southbound I-55 onto northbound I-57 will be closed, with a signed detour available. The ramp is expected to reopen Monday, Aug. 7, weather permitting.

The ramp from southbound I-57 to southbound I-55 will also be closed, with a signed detour available. The ramp is expected to reopen Monday, Oct. 2, weather permitting. Lane closures will also be in place. Southbound I-55 will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction from mile marker 66.4 to mile marker 60. In addition, westbound U.S. 60/southbound I-57 and eastbound U.S. 60/northbound I-57 will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction below the overpass. Completion is anticipated by Monday, Oct. 2, weather permitting.

Work to construct the Scott City interchange in Scott County will begin Monday, July 17, weather permitting.

As construction is underway, the Route PP overpass bridge over Interstate 55 will be closed. The Route PP overpass will be replaced with a wider, three-lane bridge to accommodate turning movements for the new interchange. The project includes constructing a new roadway from Route 61 at Kelso to the overpass bridge.

Completion is anticipated in January 2019, weather permitting. The interchange will provide access to south Scott City, as well as a connection from Interstate 55 to Kelso. The project will also relieve congestion at the Route 61/K/M/I-55 interchange.

Route A in Scott County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge replacement. This section of roadway is located between County Road 236 and Route 61. Weather permitting, work will start Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 6 a.m. and re-open Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Northbound I-55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-ft. width restriction as contractor crews perform shoulder work. This section of road is located between MM 86 and MM 88. Weather permitting, work will performed Thursday, July 27 through Aug. 17 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route 19 - Contractor crews will be working on the section of roadway that is located 3 miles south of Route EE at the Route 19 Sinking Creek bridge. Traffic will remain on the temporary bridge until the new bridge is completed with minimal impact to traffic. The traveling public should watch for construction traffic turning on to and off the highway and workers near the roadway. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, March 20 through Friday, Dec. 1, including weekends as necessary.

Route 106 in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform road maintenance. This section of roadway is located between Route E and County Road 423. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, July 24 through Friday, Sept. 1. The work zone will be set-up for 24-hours a day. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic through work zone using temporary signals.

Texas County

Construction Projects

Southbound US 63 in Texas County from First Street to just north of Holder Drive and Northbound Route 17 from US 63 to Dooley Avenue in Houston will receive ADA sidewalks. The project will also consist of new drainage, along with new curb and gutter. Weather permitting, work will be take place Monday, July 17 through November 27 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., including weekends as necessary.

Route 17 in Texas County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements and shoulder construction. This section of roadway is located from US 63 in Houston to Route 106 in Summersville. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route 17 in Howell and Texas Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction  as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay. The section of roadway is located from US 160 at West Plains in Howell County to Route 106 at Summersville in Texas County. Weather permitting, work will be performed Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, August 18 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., including weekends as necessary.

Route 137 in Texas County will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay. The section of roadway is located from Route 17 in Yukon to Route 32 in Licking. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, Aug. 28 through Saturday, Sept. 30 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., including weekends as necessary.

Wayne County

Construction Projects

Route 49 in Wayne County will be reduced as contractor crews perform bridge replacement. This section of roadway is located south of Route CC over McKenzie Creek. Weather permitting, shoulder work will begin Tuesday, May 30 at 6 a.m. Once a temporary bypass is built the road will be reduced to one lane with signals.  Work will continue until Sunday, Oct. 1. 

Southbound Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 12 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance.  This bridge is located between County Road 303 and Route K over Bennett Creek.  Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 18 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. 

Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. The section of road is located between County Road 306 to County Road 220.

Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Sept. 1 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Outer Road from Route 34 to northbound 67 in Wayne County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge replacement. This section of roadway is located near Silva.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Aug. 28 and will re-open Saturday, Oct. 31.

Southbound Route 67 in Madison and Wayne Counties will be reduced with a 16-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform erosion work. This section of road is located from the Route E to Route F.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 28 through Friday, Sept. 15 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Wright County

Construction Projects

Route 38 in Wright County will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance. The bridge over Lick Fork Gasconade River is located between Steele Bluff Road and Route Y. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, July 24 through Monday, August 21. The work zone will be set-up for 24-hours a day. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic across bridge using temporary signals.

Route 38 in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay. This section of roadway is located from Route 95 to Route F.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, August 14 through Friday, Sept. 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route Y in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay. The section of roadway is located from US 60 to Route 38.  Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.
