Route 51 in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane with a nine-foot width restriction as contractor crews begin installing shoulders along the roadway. This section of roadway is located from Route 72 to Route 34. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Nov. 12 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily and will be completed in Oct. 2013.

This section of roadway is located from to Route 34 at Marble Hill to US 60 in Stoddard County. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and will be completed in Aug. 2013.
Route 34 in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews install pipe under the roadway.This section of roadway is located from County Road 508 to County Road 500.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 1 through Friday, May 31 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Oak Grove Road-Oak Grove Road is now open throughout the project. The ramps that will allow access to Route 67 are under construction. Other grading and paving construction will continue. Signal, lighting work and striping is also underway. Southbound Route 67 will be reduced to one lane to allow ramp work. Signs and channelizers are in place.

Cape Girardeau County
Construction Projects
Route V in Cape County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge repairs.This section of roadway is located between Tecoma Lane and Route 177.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 15 at 7 a.m. and will will reopen Sunday, June 9 by 5 p.m.
Route W/Lexington Avenue/Kingsway Drive (Roundabout)-The first stage of construction for the roundabout at the Route W/Lexington Avenue/Kingsway Drive intersection in Cape Girardeau is scheduled to begin the week of April 29, weather permitting.
On April 29 and 30, crews will install signs and other traffic control devices. As work is underway, Northbound lanes of Mount Auburn Road will be reduced to one lane from south of Kage Road to Kingshighway (Route 61). The closure will continue on the opposite side of Kingshighway from Lexington Avenue to north of Route W. In addition, Kingsway will be closed. Access to the trail will be available through the parking lot.
The first stage of construction is expected to begin Wednesday, May 1. This phase of work will include grading, installing concrete curbs and asphalt paving on the northwest and northeast corners of the Lexington Avenue/Route W intersection. This stage is expected be completed in three to four weeks, weather permitting.
As improvements are underway, motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area, expect delays and seek alternate routes, if possible.

Work will take place at the following intersections: US160 and Worley Drive, US160 and Southern Hills Drive, US160 and Bruce Smith Parkway, US63 and Route K, US63 and Broadway, US63 and Route CC and US63 and US160. Weather permitting, work will take start Thursday, April 25 until completed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Northbound US 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform concrete paving on shoulders. The section of roadway is located from US 160 to Route ZZ near West Plains. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, May 1 through Saturday, June 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
US 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform a milling operation. The section of roadway is located from US 160 to Route 14. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 13 through Saturday, June 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.
Creamery Road in Howell County will be CLOSED as contractor crews keep traffic from conflicting with the lane shift on US 63. The section of roadway is located just south of US 63 and is between BU 63 (Bill Virdon Blvd) and Crider Street in West Plains. Weather permitting, closure will take place Tuesday, May 28 at 7 a.m. and will reopen on Monday, June 3 at 7 p.m.
South Hill Street in Howell County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform grading and concrete paving of the roadway. The section of roadway is located just north of US 63 and is between Hwy 17 and BU 63 in West Plains. Weather permitting, closure will take place Monday, May 20 at 7 a.m. and will reopen on Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m.

St. Francois County

Route 47-
The new signals are now active at the US67/MO47 interchange. MoDOT’s contractors are currently working to activate the new signals at Route 47 and Berry Road. The new signals could be activated as early as the week of Aug. 27, weather permitting. The signal work is not expected to impact traffic. Additionally, MoDOT’s contractors are currently working to widen the interchange ramps. Motorists should expect a narrow travelway on the ramps as work is underway. Work to widen Route 47 beneath Route 67 is expected to begin Sept. 3. Work will be underway at night (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.). Motorists should expect single lane closures on Route 47.
Route D in St. Francois County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Terre Bleue Creek. This section of roadway is located from Route K to Cedar Run Road. Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 8 at 12 a.m. and reopening by 12 a.m Monday, July 8.

Wright County

Route 60-A project to make pavement repairs to Route 60 between Mountain Grove and Springfield is set to begin Monday, Aug. 27. Crews will begin the project at Route 95 in Mountain Grove, working westward toward Route 65 in Springfield. Drivers can expect daytime lane closures Monday through Friday as crews are working. Drivers also can expect narrowed ramp lanes at interchanges in the Mountain Grove/Mansfield areas as crews are making pavement repairs. The entire project is set for completion in December.
Route 38 in Wright County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform bridge work. The bridge located over the Woods Fork of the Gasconade River is between Mabon Street and Steele Bluff Road. Weather permitting, closure will take place Saturday, June 1 at 6 a.m. and will reopen on Thursday, August 15 at 4:30 p.m.
Route 5 in Laclede and Wright Counties will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews overlay the roadway with asphalt. This section of roadway is located from Route C in Laclede County to Route 60 at Mansfield. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, April 29 through Friday, June 14 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.
Intersection Route 5 and Route 38 in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform intersection work. The intersection is located at Route 5 and Route 38 in Hartville. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, June 3 through Saturday, June 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.
