Bollinger County

Construction Projects

Route 51 in Bollinger County will be closed as contractor crews replace two bridges located over Cane Creek and Dry Creek.The Route 51 bridge over Cane Creek is located between County Road 524 and County Road 601 near Dongola, Mo. The Route 51 bridge over Dry Creek is located between Route N and County Road 522, south of Marble Hill, Mo. Construction of the bridges will be underway simultaneously, with closures at both bridge locations.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 14 starting at 6:30 a.m., with completion of both bridges anticipated by Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m.

Route NN in Bollinger County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from Route 51 to the end of state maintenance.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Cape Girardeau County

Construction Projects

Route 74 in Cape County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located from Route 25 to just east of I-55 Northbound.

Weather permitting, work will take place from Monday, April 23 through Saturday, June 23 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route B in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs. This bridge is located between Route KK and County Road 630 over Apple Creek. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carter County

Roadway Maintenance

Route 21 in Carter and Reynolds Counties will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil. This section of roadway is located from US 60 in Carter County to Route K in Reynolds County at Ellington. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 4 through Thursday, June 7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Traffic will be guided through work zone with flaggers and pilot cars.

Douglas County

Construction Projects

Route T in Douglas County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform a bridge replacement. The bridge over Little Beaver Creek is located between County Road 561 and County Road 541.  Weather permitting, the CLOSURE will take place Monday, July 2 with plans to re-open Friday, September 21.

Route ZZ in Douglas County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform a bridge replacement. The bridge is located over Fox Creek at the end of Route ZZ and between County Road ZZ-136 and County Road ZZ-138.  Weather permitting, the CLOSURE will take place Monday, April 30 with plans to re-open Wednesday, August 1.

Roadway Maintenance

Route 14 in Douglas County will be reduced while Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of road is located from to Route 95 to the Howell County line. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, June 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Route 181 in Douglas and Ozark Counties will be reduced while Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of road is located from to Route 76 in Douglas County to Route H in Ozark County. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, June 20 through Thursday, June 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.  

Route AH in Douglas County will be reduced while Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of road is located from to Route W to the end of state maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dunklin County

Route O in Dunklin County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Snipe Slough Ditch in Kennett, Missouri. This bridge is located between Route VV and Providence Road. Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, May 29 and will re-open Friday, August 24. 

 

Route O in Dunklin County will be reduced with a 12 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from Route 84 to Route 412.  Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, June 1 through Friday, June 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. 

Roadwork Maintenance

Route MM in Stoddard and Dunklin Counties will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route U to Route J. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Howell County

Construction Projects

Contractor crews will work to IMPROVE SIDEWALKS with periodic lane closures on US 160 in Howell County from Bruce Smith Parkway to Worley Drive, Business 63 in Howell County from Howell Avenue to just east of College Street and Northbound Route 17 in Texas County from Hamrick Street to just east of Dooley Street. Work will begin Tuesday, May 29, consecutively in the order above. Work will occur between 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with occasional work on Saturdays with a completion date of Saturday, December 15, but is anticipated to be completed mid-summer.

Southbound Business 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform new ADA sidewalk construction. The section of roadway is located from Gibson Ave. to Broadway in West Plains. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, April 9 through Friday, June 29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

US 160 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt resurfacing and also will be extending culverts and shoulders. This section of roadway is located between Route JJ and Route 101. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Thursday, November 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with weekends as necessary.

Roadway Maintenance

Business 60 in Howell County is CLOSED by the Missouri Department of Transportation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  The CLOSED bridge is over Kings Creek is located between US 60 and County Road 1270. The bridge is west of the Missouri Department of Transportation Regional Office and maintenance shed in Willow Springs.

Madison County

Construction Projects

North and southbound Route 67 in Madison and Wayne Counties will be reduced with a 14-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform roadside work. This section of road is located from Route 72 to Route 34. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 through Friday, July 27 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route V in Madison County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transpotation crews replace a pipe under the roadway.  This section of roadway is located between Route F and County Road 244.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, June 19 through Thursday, June 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. 

Route V in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pull paving.This section of roadway is located between County Road 704 and Route P.Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28 from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This will be open to local traffic.

Route W in Madison County will be closed while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route J to County Road 208. Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, June 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Route NN in Madison County will be closed while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route J to County Road 257. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Route D in Mississippi County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge deck.The bridge is located between Route 77 and County Road 325.Weather permitting, the bridge will close Monday, June 18 and will re-open Monday, July 30.

Route 77/62 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance.This bridge is located between County Road 223 and Route NN.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 2 through Thursday, Aug. 2 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

New Madrid County

Construction Projects

 

Northbound and Southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid and Scott Counties will be reduced with a 14 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from mile marker 49 to mile marker 66.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Saturday, June 2 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route 153 in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway. This section of roadway is located between Route 62 to County Road 240. 

Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Oregon County

Construction Projects

US 63 in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay and also guard rail work. This section of roadway is located from just south of Koshkonong to north Route 19 in Thayer.

Contractor has had unanticipated delays. Work is expected to begin the week of April 30 through Friday, June 29 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily including weekends as necessary.

Ozark County

Construction Projects

US 160 in Ozark and Taney Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform a resurfacing project. This section of roadway is located from south Route 5 in Ozark County to south Route 125 in Taney County. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 23 through Wednesday, August 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary. Traffic will be guided through the work zone with the USE of a PILOT CAR.

Route 181 in Ozark County will be reduced while Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of road is located from Route CC to Route N. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday. June 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Route FF in Ozark County will be reduced while Missouri Department of Transportation crews partially overlay the roadway. This section of road is located from the north end of maintenance over Route 181 to the south end of maintenance. Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday. June 26 through Wednesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Pemiscot County

Route J in Pemiscot County will be closed as contractor crews replace the railroad crossing.  This railroad crossing is located between east Lincoln Street and south 4th Street in Hayti, Mo. Weather permitting, the closure will begin Monday, June 25 and re-open Monday, July 9. 

Route EE in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.  This section of roadway is located from Route 153 to Route A.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 through Friday, July 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route F in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.  This section of roadway is located from Route 164 to Route 61.  Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, June 22 through Friday, July 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route J in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.  This section of roadway is located from Route 84 to Route Z.  Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 26 through Friday, July 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route O in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.  This section of roadway is located from I-55 to the end of state maintenance.  Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 21 through Friday, July 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route Z in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.  This section of roadway is located from Route 412 to Route 164.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 10 through Friday, July 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route U in Pemiscot County will be reduced with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from I-155 interchange to I-55 interchange.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 2 through Monday, July 16 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route J in Pemiscot County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe beneath the roadway.  This section of roadway is located between Route C and County Road 423.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, June 19 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Route 51 in Perry County will be reduced with a 10 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge repairs. This is the Chester Bridge which goes over the Mississippi River into Illinois. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 4 through Thursday, Nov 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route O in Perry County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance. This bridge is over Apple Creek located between County Road 614 and Route B. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route K in Perry County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.  This bridge is located between County Road 616 and Route O over Apple Creek.  Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, June 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. 

Route N in Perry County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway is located from Route T to County Road 819. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 25 through Tuesday, July 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route BB in Perry County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from Route T to County Road 732. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 19 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Scott County

Construction Projects

Work to construct the Scott City interchange in Scott County will begin Monday, July 17, weather permitting.

As construction is underway, the Route PP overpass bridge over Interstate 55 will be closed. The Route PP overpass will be replaced with a wider, three-lane bridge to accommodate turning movements for the new interchange. The project includes constructing a new roadway from Route 61 at Kelso to the overpass bridge.

Completion is anticipated in January 2019, weather permitting. The interchange will provide access to south Scott City, as well as a connection from Interstate 55 to Kelso. The project will also relieve congestion at the Route 61/K/M/I-55 interchange.

Route O in Scott County will be closed as contractor crews perform bridge replacement.This section of roadway is located between County Road 530 and County Road 532. Weather permitting, work will start Monday, April 16 at 6 a.m. and will re-open Friday, July 13 at 5 p.m.

Northbound and Southbound Interstate 55 will be reduced with a 14 foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from mile marker 49 to mile marker 66.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 21 through Saturday, June 2 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Route 61 in Scott County will have intermittent lane closures as contractor crews remove trees along the right of way. This section of roadway is located from Route PP to Messmer Street in Kelso, Mo. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 14 and Friday June 15 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Interstate 55/57/U.S. 60 Improvements to the cloverleaf interchange in Sikeston, Mo. will begin Monday, June 4, weather permitting. The interchange is located at mile marker 66. The ramp from northbound I-55 onto westbound 60 will be closed, with a signed detour available. The ramp is expected to reopen Friday, Aug. 17, weather permitting. The ramp from northbound I-57/ eastbound 60 to northbound I-55 will also be closed, with a signed detour available. The ramp is expected to reopen Monday, Oct. 1, weather permitting. Lane closures will also be in place. Northbound I-55 will be reduced to one lane with an 10-foot width restriction from mile marker 64 to mile marker 67. In addition, westbound U.S. 60/southbound I-57 and eastbound U.S. 60/northbound I-57 will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction below the overpass. Completion is anticipated by Monday, Oct. 1.

Stoddard County

Construction Projects

Route 51 and Route B in Butler and Stoddard Countries will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform shoulder widening and asphalt overlay.This section of roadway is located between on/off ramps at Route 51/60 in Stoddard County to Business 60 in Butler County.Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, April 2 through Thursday, May 17 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Flaggers and a pilot car will be in use.

Route K in Stoddard County will be closed as contractor crews replace a bridge over Wolf Creek.  This bridge is located between north Route BB and south Route BB.  Weather permitting, work will begin Wednesday, June 13 and re-open Friday, Aug. 31.

Route MM in Stoddard and Dunklin Counties will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.  This section of roadway is located from Route U to County Road 102.  Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 through Wednesday, June 20 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Route 137 in Texas County, the Missouri Department of Transportation bridge crew will be working under the bridge over the south fork of the Jacks Fork River. This will not impact the traveling public.  The bridge is located between Route U and Route AZ. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, June 17 through Thursday, June 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Route B in Shannon and Texas Counties will be CLOSED as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of roadway to CLOSE is located from US 63 in Texas County to the end of state maintenance in Shannon County. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 21 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Wayne County

Construction Projects

Route 49 in Wayne County will be closed as contractor crews replace the deck of the bridge over Black River, located approximately .25 miles south of Mill Spring, Mo.Beginning Monday, May 14, contractor crews will reduce Route 49 to one lane to begin deck replacement. The full closure will begin on Tuesday, May 29, weather permitting, with an anticipated completion date of Saturday, June 30. The closure will extend from Birch Street in Mill Spring, Mo., to County Road 446. 

Contractor crews will soon begin work to replace the deck of the Route HH bridge over McKenzie Creek in Wayne County.The bridge is located between Industrial Drive in Piedmont, Mo., and County Road 357.

Construction of a temporary bypass will begin Monday, May 14 at 6 a.m., weather permitting. Once the temporary bypass is in place, traffic will shift to utilize the bypass and work to replace the bridge deck will begin. Completion is anticipated on Aug. 23, weather permitting.The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution.

North and southbound Route 67 in Madison and Wayne Counties will be reduced with a 14-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform roadside work. This section of road is located from Route 72 to Route 34. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 18 through Friday, July 27 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Route E in Wayne County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews overlay the road with asphalt. This section of roadway is located from Route 67 to Route C. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 25 through Wednesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

EASTBOUND US 60 in Wright County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform pavement repairs and asphalt overlay. This section of roadway is located from the Webster County line to Whetstone Creek just west of Mountain Grove. Weather permitting, work will take place from Tuesday, June 19 through Friday, August 31 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends as necessary.

Route H in Wright County will be CLOSED as contractor crews perform a bridge replacement. The bridge over Beaver Creek is located between Route 95 and Montgomery Ford Road.  Weather permitting, the CLOSURE will take place Monday, April 30 with plans to re-open Wednesday, October 31.
