What's the problem? 

Aging pavement and geometric challenges on Route Y in Stoddard County near the Purina Plant.

What's the solution?

MoDOT will flatten a hill and make an adjustment to a curve as well as resurface Route Y from Route 25 to the Purina Plant.  The project is a cost share project with Nestle Purina to improve safety.

Where does it stand now? 

Improvements to Route Y have been completed.

What happens next? 

The project is expected to be completed this September, weather permitting.
