What's the problem? 

Old pavement is in need of repair and there are currently no paved shoulders along the route.

What's the solution?

MoDOT plans to resurface the route and pave the shoulders from Route 67 at Poplar Bluff to Route 25 at Holcomb.

Where does it stand now? 

Final design plans have been completed on the first phase between Qulin and Campbell.

What happens next? 

A contract was awarded for the first phase between Qulin and Campbell in December.  Work is expected to start in the spring.
