Route M in Carter County Reduced For Bridge Work

WILLOW SPRINGS - Route M in Carter County is reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews begin construction on the bridge over Pike Creek.

The bridge is located on Route M just north of County Road 100. Shoulder work will continue from County Road 100 to one half mile north of County Road 101.

Weather permitting, work will be performed until Friday, Sept. 30 and the work zone will be set-up for 24-hours a day. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic across bridge using temporary signals.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
