Route J in Madison County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews seal the roadway with a mixture of rock and oil.

 This section of roadway is located from Route 72 in Madison to Route 51 in Perry Co..

 Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, July 31 through Friday, Aug. 3 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
