The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded four of six Southeast District projects on July 8, 2009. 

Projects awarded include:

• Contract to Install DMSs and CCTV Cameras on I-55, I-57 and Route 60
• Improvements to Route H in Scott County: Blue Ditch Bridge Will Be Replaced
• Economic Recovery Project in Wayne County to Improve Route 34
• I-55 Welcome Centers near Hayti and Marston

 

The Commission did not award contracts for improvements to Route D in Pemiscot County or Route W in Cape Girardeau County at this time.  However, MoDOT intends to reopen bids for these projects.
