Willow Springs, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will perform bridge maintenance work on Route 106, Shannon County, on the bridge located at Owls Bend over the Current River, beginning Monday, Oct. 19.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Bridge maintenance is performed to improve the section where the road and bridge meet and prevent deterioration of the bridge deck or structure. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Signals will be in place to manage traffic flow. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving through the work zone.
