Willow Springs, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced street closures in St. James have been delayed until Tuesday, October 27. The closures on N. Maramec Street, W. James Blvd. and Route 8/Jefferson Street, in St. James, are planned to allow city crews to perform brush cleanup. Weather permitting, crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closures will begin at N. Maramec Street and extend south to W. James Blvd., W. James Blvd. will be closed from N. Maramec to Route 8/Jefferson Street, and Route 8/Jefferson Street will be closed from W. James Blvd. to Dillon Street.
The work zone will be marked with signs and to alert motorists. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area.
