Battle of the Belt 2009 runs October 5 to November 20, 2009.
Schools participating in the safety belt education campaign need to allow six consecutive weeks between October 5 and November 20. This allows one week for the first safety belt check, four weeks for education, and a final week for the second safety belt check.
October 12, 2009, is the last day to begin the safety belt check portion of the program in order to stay within the allotted six weeks.
Report Forms Deadline
Registration deadline is October 2, 2009
All final online forms must be submitted no later than December 15, 2009.
The Safety Belt Check Reporting form(s) should be sent to your Regional Team Leader as soon as you complete them, or by December 15, 2009. Your video contest submissions should be mailed to MoDOT Highway Safety (P.O. Box 270, Jefferson City, MO 65102) by December 15, 2009 – before mailing your submissions make sure you have completed the PSA Entry form online, and include a copy of it with your entry.
Schools must meet the deadlines to be eligible for any awards or prize money. No exceptions!
PSA Video Contest
Schools participating in the PSA Video contest may begin on or before October 5, 2009. All submissions must be entered online, using the PSA Entry Form, and mailed to MoDOT Highway Safety Division (P.O. Box 270, Jefferson City, MO 65102) by December 15, 2009 with a copy of the PSA Entry Form included.
