General Safety Training

An in-depth look at safety regulations and recordkeeping requirements.
The course is offered in both an online and in-person format. See specific dates below.

In-person training is conducted during a three and one-half hour session. The class covers the same material as the online option.

Online training sessions are conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. The training is offered in a 4-day format, with each day dedicated to specific regulatory parts. This allows for flexibility in your session scheduling. Each day's session is approximately 1.5 hours in length with additional time for questions when necessary.

Learn how to access and use MoDOT's OSOW online permit ordering system. We'll cover entering vehicle, measurement and routing information, as well as how to save equipment information in the system. We'll share how to save time by using a previous permit as a template. 1.5 hours
