The snow on the eve of our third Partnering for Innovative Efficiencies meeting at Lake Ozark did not deter our partners from attending; again, showing the commitment and quality of our partners in Missouri Transportation. The focus of the meeting was to accelerate the finalization of payment for construction projects.  Partners along with MoDOT staff broke into three teams to review how the process currently works and then determined key areas of improvement to make the process more efficient.  Each team brought back its suggestions and reported out to the other teams.  Group discussions focused on identifying the top priorities.  Five recommendations were agreed upon to accelerate the finalization of payments for construction projects.
