Route 16 Ribbon Cutting

Route 16 Sugar Creek was the final bridge replacement under the Safe & Sound Bridge program in Lewis County. The ribbon cutting was held July 26 and featured area residents are either side of the dignitaries holding 4 ft tape measures to show how the bridge is 8 feet wider than the old bridge. Those attending the ceremony included all three county commissioners, Allison Skare of US Senator Claire McCaskill's office, Senator Brian Munzlinger, Representative Craig Redmon, Amy Crawford with MoDOT, Patrick Mcierney with KTU Contractors, and Duane Bailey with Bleigh Construction.
